100% Blackout Curtains 90 in Long Grey Panels - Double Layer Light

In this review of the 100% Blackout Curtains 90 in Long set, the bottom line is simple: these curtains are for anyone who needs complete room darkening and better temperature control without a complicated installation. The set reviewed is a pair of grey, double-layer polyester panels with a sewn black liner that truly blocks street lamps and morning sun. Installation is straightforward thanks to eight silver grommets per panel, and the material feels soft with no chemical smell, making it suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, or living rooms where darkness and privacy matter.

Key Features

• Double-layer construction: Two thick layers including a black lining block sunlight and UV to create a fully darkened room for sleep and naps.
• Full-length size: Each panel is 52 in wide by 90 in long, giving broad coverage for standard tall windows or sliding doors when used as a 2-panel set.
• Grommet top: Eight silver metal grommets with a 1.6 in inner diameter make these curtains easy to hang and glide smoothly across a rod.
• Noise reduction: The thicker, double-layer fabric reduces outside noise better than a single-layer curtain, improving privacy and sleep quality.
• Energy saving: The black liner helps reduce heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer, which can lower seasonal energy use.
• Easy care: Machine washable on a gentle cycle below 86F and tumble dry low, so upkeep is simple without special cleaning.

Who It's For

These curtains suit people who need effective blackout performance: shift workers, light-sensitive sleepers, parents setting up a nursery, or anyone who wants to block street lighting and sun glare. The neutral grey fits modern decors and is a sensible choice for bedrooms, living rooms, or offices where both privacy and a minimal look are desired.

Those who should look elsewhere include buyers wanting decorative sheer panels or highly textured designer fabrics, since this product emphasizes function and a simple solid color. If a motorized or thermal pleated option is required, a different product would be a better match.
