adidas Kids' Goletto IX Turf Soccer Shoe - Lightweight Traction

Our review of the adidas Kids' Goletto IX Turf Soccer Shoe finds it well suited for young players who need reliable grip and comfort on artificial turf. The single biggest reason to consider these shoes is the lugged rubber outsole that delivers confident traction on turf, reducing slips during quick cuts and runs. Built with a synthetic upper and textile lining, the Goletto IX balances durability and lightweight comfort so kids can play longer without discomfort. Adjustable laces help achieve a snug fit that keeps feet stable during play, making these a practical choice for practices and casual matches.

Key Features

• Turf soccer outsole: A lugged rubber outsole is designed specifically for artificial turf and provides consistent traction on synthetic surfaces.
• Synthetic upper: The lightweight, durable upper resists wear from repeated use while keeping the shoe light for easier movement.
• Adjustable laces: Laces allow a secure, customizable fit that helps prevent slipping inside the shoe during fast play.
• Textile lining: A soft lining improves comfort for extended wear and reduces rubbing on the foot during drills and games.
• Lightweight construction: Overall construction minimizes excess weight so kids expend less effort while running and changing direction.

Who It's For

The Goletto IX is aimed at children who play soccer on artificial turf, whether in organized youth leagues, school teams, or weekend pick-up games. It is a sensible option for parents who want a durable, easy-to-maintain shoe that still provides the feel and traction needed for basic to intermediate play.

Players who train primarily on natural grass or need cleats with longer studs for muddy conditions should look elsewhere, as these shoes are optimized for turf surfaces rather than soft or uneven outdoor fields.
