Area Rug 5ftx7ft Washable Traditional Distressed Rug - Thin Retro

In this review of the Area Rug 5'x7' washable traditional distressed rug by CHAMPLANT, the bottom line is simple: this rug is aimed at shoppers who want a soft, low-pile floor covering with vintage looks that is easy to clean and stays put. The reviewer found the rug's faded floral pattern and faux wool feel deliver comfortable underfoot softness, while the TPR non-slip backing and ultra-thin profile make it practical for high-traffic areas, entryways and spots under furniture. Its machine washability and stain resistance are the single biggest reasons to consider it for homes with kids or pets.

Key Features

• Soft Designed: Made from high-quality faux wool fibers, the rug feels plush and soft on bare feet while remaining non-shedding and stain-resistant.
• Vintage Distressed Look: The faded floral pattern and muted tones provide a retro, Moroccan-inspired aesthetic that blends with both modern and traditional rooms.
• Non-slip Backing: A TPR rubber backing keeps the rug in place under heavy traffic so it resists sliding and protects the floor from scuffs.
• Ultra-thin Profile: The low 0.27 in pile allows the rug to sit under doors and furniture without creating a tripping hazard and is compatible with robot sweepers.
• Machine Washable: Designed to be machine washed, vacuumed, or spot cleaned, the rug is easy to maintain and restore after spills.
• Kid and Pet Friendly: The low pile prevents hair and dander from trapping and reduces the chance of pets snagging claws or chewing edges.

Who It's For

This rug is best for apartment dwellers, families with young children, or pet owners who need a comfortable area rug that is low maintenance and easy to wash. Its thin construction makes it ideal for entryways, kitchens, dining areas and layered styling in living rooms where doors or furniture need to clear the rug.

Shoppers who want a high-pile luxury rug, heavy padding for cushioning, or a rug designed for deep vacuuming should look elsewhere; some customers note the thickness is mixed feedback and the ultra-thin profile will not replace a thick wool rug for insulation or sound dampening.
