ArtToFrames 21x25 Inch Red Picture Frame - Cherry Custom MDF

In this review the ArtToFrames 21x25 Inch Red Picture Frame is examined for anyone who needs a reliable, odd-size frame for posters, photos, diplomas or artwork. The bottom line: it is a sturdy, attractively finished MDF frame that fits 21in x 25in prints and comes ready to hang with economy acrylic and corrugated backing, making it a convenient choice for home or office display. Its straightforward construction, 1.25in profile and 0.50in rabbet mean it works well for flat prints and lightweight mounted art.

Key Features

• Size compatibility: Fits a 21in x 25in print exactly and will also accept a 25in x 21in orientation for flexibility.
• Construction: Made of MDF with a cherry red finish that gives a consistent look and resists warping compared with thin solid wood trim.
• Profile and depth: The frame measures 1.25in wide and 0.75in deep, offering a modest but visible border that complements most images without overwhelming them.
• Display ready: Includes economy acrylic glazing, corrugated backing and a wire hanging set so the frame can be mounted on the wall straight from the box.
• Image protection and fit: A 0.34in lip overlaps the print edge for secure positioning and a 0.50in rabbet accommodates typical flat prints and lightweight mounts.

Who It's For

The frame is best for anyone seeking an affordable, finished frame for a less common print size such as 21in x 25in, especially homeowners, students or small galleries who want an immediate hanging solution without custom framing costs. Its cherry finish works well with color and black-and-white images and suits living rooms, dorm rooms, hallways and offices.

Those who need archival glazing, deep shadowbox capacity, or to frame very thick or textured artwork should look elsewhere; the economy acrylic and 0.50in rabbet are aimed at standard prints and posters rather than heavy canvases or framed objects needing museum-grade materials.

Pros & Cons

Pros

• Good fit for odd-sized 21in x 25in prints and posters that are hard to place in standard frames.
• The cherry MDF finish looks consistent and pairs well with both color and monochrome art.
• Includes economy acrylic, corrugated backing and a hanging wire so it is ready to mount right away.
• Reasonable build quality and value for money for non-archival home use.
