Blackout Curtains 66 x 84 in Chocolate Brown - Thermal Room Darkening

In this review the reviewer looks at the LEMOMO blackout curtains set and finds them best suited for bedrooms and living rooms where privacy and light control matter most. The single biggest reason to buy is the fabric's triple-weave construction that provides strong room darkening and thermal insulation, helping stabilize room temperature across seasons. Packaged as two 66 in x 84 in panels in chocolate brown, the set aims to combine a clean look with practical benefits like UV protection and reduced drafts.

Key Features

• 100% polyester fabric: The heavy, durable material feels smooth and resists wrinkles for a neat hanging appearance.
• Triple weave blackout: The innovative triple weave reduces most incoming light and UV rays to protect furniture and darken rooms.
• Thermal insulation: These panels help limit heat transfer so rooms stay cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
• Grommet top: Eight silver grommets per panel with a 1.6 in inner diameter slide easily on standard curtain rods for simple installation.
• Set of two panels: Each panel measures 66 in wide and 84 in long, providing wide coverage for typical windows when used together.
• Machine washable care: The curtains are washable and designed to be low maintenance when laundered on a gentle cycle.

Who It's For

These curtains are ideal for anyone who needs effective privacy maximization and energy savings without custom construction work. Apartment dwellers, shift workers who sleep during daylight, and homeowners who want to cut UV exposure on flooring or artwork will find them particularly useful.

Those seeking absolute blackout for media rooms or people wanting thick, layered drapery for heavy soundproofing may want to look at heavier multi-layer options, since customer feedback on thickness and blackout performance is mixed and results vary by room and mounting method.

Pros & Cons

Pros

• Good overall light blockage in many rooms, especially with darker colors and proper mounting.
• Durable, soft polyester material that looks neat and resists wrinkles after hanging.
• Thermal properties can reduce heating and cooling loss, offering potential energy savings.

Cons

• Blackout effectiveness and perceived thickness vary by user; some find the panels thinner than expected.
• Minor light leakage can occur at edges unless paired with proper rod placement or additional liners.
