Bloom Rugs Caria 9 ft x 12 ft Washable Non-Slip Rug - Ocean Blue/Brick

Our review of the Bloom Rugs Caria 9 ft x 12 ft washable rug finds it best for busy households that need a large, easy-care area rug with a traditional look. The single biggest reason to buy is its machine-washable construction combined with an attached non-slip backing, which makes cleaning and placement straightforward for families with kids, pets, or high traffic rooms.

Key Features

• Machine washable: The rug can be laundered on a delicate cycle at 85F (30C) and line dried or air-only dried without heat, making deep cleaning simple.
• Non-slip backing: An attached non-slip layer prevents sliding on hard floors so the rug stays in place without a separate pad or grippers.
• Flat weave construction: The low-profile, flat weave keeps the surface tidy and suitable for dining chairs or high traffic without trapping debris.
• Stain-resistant fibers: The material is designed to resist spills and stains and to minimize shedding with normal care.
• Exact large size: At a true 9 ft x 12 ft, this rug covers a wide footprint for living rooms, dining areas, or large bedrooms with consistent coverage.

Who It's For

This rug suits families with children or pets and anyone who wants a large area rug that is easy to clean and maintain. The washable feature and stain-resistant fibers make it practical for kitchens, playrooms, and high-traffic living spaces where spills are likely.

Buyers who need a plush, high-pile carpet or a thick, cushioned rug for heavy insulation underfoot should look elsewhere; the Caria is a flat-weave, moderate-thickness rug, which some users describe as thinner than traditional woven rugs.

Pros & Cons

Pros

• Easy to launder at home, so stains and pet accidents are simpler to manage.
• Attached non-slip backing keeps the rug secure on laminate and hard floors without extra accessories.
• At 9 ft x 12 ft, it provides full coverage for large rooms and looks finished in open areas.
• Stain-resistant and non-shedding fibers offer low maintenance and lasting appearance.

Cons

• Some users may find the rug thinner than expected since it is a flat-weave construction.
• Line drying a rug this size requires space and time, which could be inconvenient for some households.
