Protect your carpets with the Kenley carpet protection film, designed to shield against paint, water, and dirt. Whether you're painting, decorating, or moving in, this film helps keep your carpet safe from spillages, paint drips, mud, dust, foot traffic, and debris that can permanently stain or damage your carpet. With a generous roll size of 18ft x 200ft, it provides ample coverage for all your needs.
Applying the self-adhesive plastic carpet protector is a breeze. Simply place the roll on the carpet and unroll it. The adhesive is on the outside of the reel, making reverse wind application easy, even for one person. To ensure full coverage, overlap lengths as needed.
When the job is done, removing the film is just as simple. Deal with any major spills or debris first, then choose a corner and pull. The Kenley carpet protector film uses a special adhesive that keeps it in place but lifts off without damaging the carpet or leaving a residue behind.
This lightweight and waterproof film is a durable solution for your project, allowing you to walk and work on it for up to 30 days. Just remember to remove it afterward. The premium material creates a tough, yet smooth and flat surface that is perfect for any situation.
With a thickness of 70 microns, the puncture-resistant carpet protection film is now thicker and tougher than ever before, providing high resistance to tears and punctures. It is designed for indoor use only and is suitable for both synthetic and natural-fiber carpets, including low pile and high pile, carpet runners, and carpeted stairs.
However, there are some limitations to keep in mind. This film is intended for use on synthetic carpets only. Avoid using it on wool, oriental, worn, or long wool carpets, as well as deep pile Saxony or deep pile polypropylene carpets. Additionally, do not apply it on carpets with underfloor heating, newly laid carpets (allow up to 72 hours for adhesives to off-gas), or recently cleaned carpets (allow a minimum of 10 days drying time). Ensure the carpet is completely dry before application, as applying the film to a damp surface may lead to moisture retention and discoloration of fibers.
