SAFAVIEH Hudson Shag Runner Rug 2ft3ft x 18ft - Plush Modern Trellis

In this review the SAFAVIEH Hudson Shag runner is considered for anyone wanting a plush, durable runner that looks elevated without delicate care demands. The bottom line: this runner is best for high-traffic hallways, entryways, and beside beds because its 2-inch thick pile delivers real cushioned comfort while the machine-woven synthetic yarns offer a virtually non-shedding surface that stays tidy with routine vacuuming. The modern trellis and Moroccan-inspired tile pattern gives a contemporary look that suits urban, coastal, and transitional rooms where softness and easy maintenance matter most.

Key Features

• Non-shedding construction: Machine-woven synthetic fibers create a pile that resists shedding so the rug stays cleaner and needs less maintenance over time.
• 2-inch plush pile: The thick shag offers cushioned softness underfoot, making it comfortable in bedrooms, hallways, and living areas.
• Modern trellis design: Moroccan-inspired tile patterns add visual texture and style that complements contemporary and transitional decor.
• Easy care: Routine vacuuming without a beater bar and gentle blotting of spills keeps the rug looking fresh with minimal effort.
• Durable for traffic: The enhanced durable yarns are designed to stand up in high-traffic areas such as entryways and busy corridors.

Who It's For

This rug suits homeowners and renters who want a cozy, stylish runner that feels soft underfoot but does not demand specialized cleaning. It is ideal for busy families, pet-free or low-pet households, and anyone layering a runner over hardwood where cushioning and color accuracy matter.

Those seeking a natural fiber rug, an ultra-thin runner for very narrow spaces, or a permanently stainproof commercial-grade mat should look elsewhere; this shag is focused on comfort and appearance rather than industrial wear or specialty fibers.
