In this review of the SAFAVIEH Natura area rug, the bottom line is simple: anyone seeking a durable, artisan-textured rug that reads as high-end without an extravagant price should consider this piece. The 9 ft x 12 ft size and plush wool construction make it a solid choice for living rooms or bedrooms that see regular use. Our review emphasizes the rug's hand-crafted texture, warm ivory and pink tones, and medium 0.5-in pile for a sleek, comfortable underfoot feel that suits contemporary, bohemian, and traditional interiors.

• Medium 0.5-in pile thickness: Offers a sleek appearance with enough cushioning for comfort without a bulky profile that impedes furniture placement.

• Trusted brand heritage: From a long-standing home furnishings maker known for quality craftsmanship and trend-aware designs.

Who It's For

This rug is best for homeowners or renters who want a large 9 ft x 12 ft anchor piece that feels handcrafted and warm underfoot, particularly in living rooms, bedrooms, or nurseries. The neutral ivory with warm pink accents suits beach house, boho, and transitional schemes and will pair well with wood or light-colored floors.

Those who need an ultra-low pile for very high-traffic entryways or commercial areas should consider a low- to flat-weave alternative, and shoppers seeking synthetic stain-resistant fibers specifically designed for heavy spills may prefer a different fiber type.

Pros & Cons

Pros

• Well-made hand-tufted construction gives a premium, textured look that customers say "looks more expensive" than the price.

• Easy to clean for a wool rug and versatile enough for many decor styles.

Yes, the medium 0.5-in pile and wool construction are durable enough for regular living room or bedroom use, though heavy commercial traffic may wear faster.

Can it be cleaned easily?
Routine vacuuming and spot cleaning are fine, but wool-specific cleaning methods are recommended for deep stains to protect the fibers.
