SAFAVIEH Tulum Collection Area Rug 9 ft Square - Durable Boho

In this review of the SAFAVIEH Tulum Collection area rug 9 ft square, the bottom line is simple: this is a sturdy, stylish rug for busy rooms where appearance and durability both matter. The reviewer found the Moroccan boho distressed design gives rooms a refreshed, modern-boho look while the heavier construction and synthetic yarns deliver a comfortable, low-maintenance surface that stands up to everyday family life. If you need a non-shedding, stain-resistant rug for high-traffic living spaces, this rug is worth considering.

Key Features

• Substantial & Robust: The rug uses up to three times more material by weight than comparable rugs, which improves durability and a cushioned underfoot feel for busy areas.
• Stain Resistant & Non-Shedding: Machine-woven from enhanced synthetic fibers, it resists shedding and is easier to keep clean after spills or tracked-in dirt.
• Kid Approved and Pet-Friendly: The construction and pile make it suitable for family rooms and play areas where small accidents and pet traffic are common.
• Trendy Style: The Moroccan boho distressed pattern and soft dark grey and ivory tones blend with modern and rustic decors to refresh a living room or bedroom.
• Trusted Brand Heritage: From a company with deep rug craftsmanship and retail experience, giving buyers reassurance about design and quality choices.

Who It's For

The Tulum 9 ft square rug is best for households that need a visually appealing floor covering that tolerates heavy foot traffic - families with kids, pet owners, and anyone who wants a durable, low-maintenance rug for a living room, dining area, or entryway. Its non-shedding pile and stain-resistant yarns make it practical for everyday use while the boho distressed look suits contemporary, eclectic, and farmhouse interiors.

Shoppers who prioritize natural fibers, ultra-high-end hand-knotted construction, or an ultra-plush shag feel should look elsewhere, as this rug is made from synthetic yarns focused on durability and easy care rather than luxury natural materials or very high-pile softness.
