wallsthatspeak 23x28 Light Walnut Rustic Pine Picture Frame - Clean

In this review of the wallsthatspeak 23x28 Light Walnut Rustic Pine Picture Frame, the bottom line is simple: it is a budget-friendly, attractive frame for posters, puzzles and photos when you want a rustic look without solid wood cost. The reviewer found the wrapped MDF construction delivers a smooth, consistent finish that mimics pine grain and the narrow flat face keeps the focus on the artwork. Ideal for framing puzzles or posters that measure close to 23x28 in, this frame balances appearance and practicality more than premium hardwood authenticity.

Key Features

• Wrapped MDF construction: Provides a consistently smooth surface and the look of wood grain while keeping the frame lightweight and affordable.
• Timeworn rustic pine finish: The light walnut underlay coloring gives photos and posters a warm, slightly aged appearance that suits vintage or farmhouse decor.
• Eco-friendly BonanzaWood material: Made from recycled residual wood particles formed under heat and pressure, which reduces waste compared with solid wood alternatives.
• Rigid plexiglass front: Durable and shatterproof protection that is safer and lighter than glass for larger pieces and high-traffic rooms.
• Versatile hanging options: The frame can hang vertically or horizontally and includes an uninstalled sawtooth hanger for flexible display.

Who It's For

This frame is best for homeowners or hobbyists who want a rustic pine look for posters, framed puzzles or prints without paying for solid wood. It works well in living rooms, family rooms and craft spaces where a light walnut tone complements warm decor.

People who need premium hardwood grain, heavy-weight framing, or high scratch resistance should look elsewhere; the wrapped MDF finish is attractive but not the same as genuine solid wood and one user reported scratching under rough handling.
