Waterproof Mattress Protector Short Queen Size - Zippered Encasement

In this review of the Waterproof Mattress Protector Short Queen Size, the bottom line is simple: this mattress encasement is best for sleepers who want straightforward, full-coverage defense against spills, dust mites and bed bugs without changing the feel of the bed. It fits a Short Queen mattress (60 in by 75 in) with a 15 in deep pocket, and the zippered, six-sided design gives clear protection across the entire mattress. The reviewer found it easy to install and care for, and particularly noted the comfortable knitted polyester surface that keeps the sleeping surface soft while the TPU backing prevents liquid transfer.

Key Features

• Short Queen fit: Precisely sized for a 60 in by 75 in Short Queen mattress with a 15 in deep pocket to stay secure on standard short queen depths.
• Six-sided zippered protection: A full encasement zipper seals the mattress 360 degrees to block bed bugs, dust mites and surface spills from reaching the mattress.
• Knitted polyester surface: Stretchable knitted polyester provides a soft, comfortable feel that still stretches over corners and keeps the sleeper comfortable all night.
• 100% waterproof backing: High-quality TPU backing across all sides resists leakage into the mattress so spills stay on the protector surface.
• Easy maintenance: Machine washable and safe to tumble dry for routine cleaning without special care requirements.
• Simple installation: The stretch fabric and zipper design make it easy to put on or remove for laundering or mattress inspection.

Who It's For

This protector is ideal for people with Short Queen beds who want complete, simple mattress protection from allergens, bed bugs and the occasional spill, especially households with children or pets. Someone who prefers a soft sleep surface will appreciate the knitted polyester fabric that does not feel plasticky like some waterproof covers.

It is less suitable for buyers who need a cooling technology or very heavy-duty commercial protection, and those who want a thinner fitted protector rather than a full zippered encasement should look elsewhere.

Pros & Cons

Pros

• Full six-sided, zippered encasement offers comprehensive mattress protection from bed bugs and dust mites.
• Comfortable stretchable knitted polyester surface retains a soft sleep feel while fitting tightly.

• Waterproof TPU backing prevents liquids from soaking into the mattress when applied correctly.

Cons

• Some customers report mixed experiences with waterproofness and long-term durability, so expectations should be tempered for heavy, frequent spills.
